Phyllis McCallum

Phyllis is the Co-owner of Shamrock Polled Herefords and Valliquette Transport, which hauls livestock, mostly purebred cattle and horses, across Canada. She is also the Director-at-Large for the Ontario Hereford Association. Phyllis has built a professional career in the agricultural sector, developed from a passion for horses and the cattle industry at a young age. Upon completing her BA in Agricultural Studies- Economics from the University of Lethbridge, Phyllis returned to Ontario to work as a commercial agricultural credit analyst. Phyllis then entered the non-profit associations, where she has built most of her career. She has been fortunate to travel in different roles and learn about market challenges facing global agricultural markets. Phyllis has also had the opportunity to present to many industry stakeholders across Canada and work on projects directly related to improving industry needs.
