Rachel Bartholomew

When Rachel Bartholomew was undergoing treatment for cervical cancer, she was given a vaginal dilator to help with the scar tissue created by radiation therapy. She quickly realized that the device would benefit from an update and came up with the design for HyIvy. Similar to the traditional device, Rachel’s upgrades include lubrication, auto-dilation, and real time data to help women with pelvic health issues complete rehabilitation at home. The company is currently recruiting patients for preliminary user testing. Rachel won $25 000 at the Fierce Founders Pitch competition.
