Rachel Mielke

At age 23, Rachel Mielke made her first-ever necklace out of the materials she could afford at the time. She received such a thrill from creating the beaded artwork that she became compelled to launch Urban Pearl Accessories, in 2005. Since rebranding as Hillberg & Berk in 2007, Mielke’s sparkling vision has only grown brighter as she seeks to empower other women through her designs. Hillberg and Berk now has eleven retail locations open across Canada. Her standout pieces have attracted the attention of numerous Olympic athletes and even been commissioned for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. To date, Mielke remains committed to ensuring her glowing mission for accessibility continues to shine for years to come.
