Rebecca Grant is a chocolatier and the owner of The Violet Chocolate Company, a gourmet chocolate store based in Edmonton, Alberta. While she was studying full-time, she had an opportunity to buy equipment when the chocolate shop she was working at closed. For four years, Rebecca was the shop’s sole employee, all while studying full time. As a result of her hard work and innovative flavours, Rebecca has grown the Violet Chocolate Company to become an internationally recognized chocolate company while giving back to her community through charity bars in support of nonprofit organizations. Her work has been recognized with dozens of national and international industry awards.
