Sarah Landstreet is the founder and former CEO of Georgette Packaging, Canada’s first carbon-neutral packaging company. She founded the company in 2013 because she wanted to address the challenges associated with marketing and packaging products in the bakery space. Sarah is a former bakery owner and engineer. She owned and operated a cupcake shop in Belfast, Ireland, before starting Georgette Packaging in Kitchener, Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Her company has shown tremendous growth since its inception, earning a spot on The Globe and Mail’s list of Canada’s Top Growing Businesses in 2020 and 2021. In 2022, Sarah received the Changemakers Award from The Globe & Mail newspaper’s Report on Business. Georgette Packaging was acquired via employee ownership in 2021, and Sarah currently teaches entrepreneurship at the Ivey Business School at Western University.
