Shalu Persaud

Shalu has been a restaurateur in Barrie for 30 years, getting an early start in the business thanks to her father, who owned the Country Kettle restaurant in Barrie. Shalu owns and operates two Simmering Kettle restaurants in Barrie, and expanded to open Dosti Eats. Dosti, which means friendship, serves offerings of cuisine from around the world – from the Caribbean, to Mexican, European, Indian, and North American foods.
