Shelby Yee

Shelby Yee is the co-founder and CEO of RockMass Technologies, a mining technology company that allows for the quick collection of structural orientation data underground. Shelby’s background is in geological engineering, and she founded the company with her classmate in 2016 to digitize the industry. They’re working to streamline and improve the data collected at underground mines to make historically dangerous mine work safer and more efficient. Some of the largest global mining companies have adopted the Toronto-based startup’s flagship platform. Shelby and her co-founder were recognized by the Forbes 30 under 30 list in manufacturing and industry in 2021.
