Stephanie Thompson

Stephanie Thompson is a visionary engineer and community leader who is dedicated to promoting science, technology, and education in the Niagara region. With over a decade of experience as a mentor in the FIRST Robotics program, she has a passion for empowering young people, particularly female students, to pursue careers in STEM fields. To further this goal, Stephanie founded STEM by Steph, a social enterprise that provides hands-on workshops and career coaching for women and students interested in STEM. Her innovative approach to learning and outreach has inspired over 120 women to explore new opportunities in STEM, and her work has earned her recognition as a Woodie Flowers Finalist Award winner. With a focus on building bridges between education, industry, and community, Stephanie continues to lead the way in advancing STEM in the Niagara area.
