Sukhdeep Kang

Sukhdeep Kang is a woman who has worn many hats throughout her career. She was the first immigrant woman and second South Asian to become an officer with the Peel Regional Police, which led to her becoming a member of the Criminal Injury Compensation Board. Her work with victims and family members of deceased victims of violent crimes led her to an interest in insurance. After leaving Peel Regional Police, Sukhdeep became a successful insurance broker and soon launched Armour Insurance Brokers. The first South Asian woman in Canada to own an independent insurance brokerage, Sukhdeep has grown the company’s portfolio to approximately $70 million in gross written premium.
