Vivie Prophete

Vivie Prophete opened Caribbean’s Finest Restaurant in Edmonton with her husband Sylvio. They have worked to grow their business so that they can give back – not only to the Haitian community by organizing fundraisers, but also for the Edmontonian community at large. During the 2016 Fort McMurray Wildfires, they opened their doors and offered food and beverages to all in need. Caribbean’s Finest is a Haitian restaurant, but it is also more: it is a hub for Haitian newcomers and friends to come together, share information, and find community.
