Ainka Jess

Ainka always had an interest in sports, both as a participant in her youth and as a fan in adulthood. Following numerous conversations with her women colleagues and sports fans, Ainka noted that many did not see themselves reflected in sports media and culture and set out to change the conversation. Ainka launched She’s4Sports on social media to give women a larger voice in sport, and began hosting events featuring speaking engagements from women working in various roles in the industry. Over the last four years, She’s4Sports has grown to a community of over 5000 female and male sports fans via social media and word of mouth.
