Heather Dickson

Heather had an early education in fashion. Immersed in First Nation’s culture, she learned the art of beading at a young age and sought education in traditional sewing before setting out to earn her diploma in Fashion Design from the International Arts Institute in Vancouver. She specializes in selling handmade beaded headbands, for general wear and to accompany Indigenous regalia, which are prepared by Heather with beading work done by Indigenous artisans and herself. Each piece that Heather produces is a unique, one-of-a-kind craft.
