Audrey Marguerite is a co-founder at Montreal-based store Simplitude. From groceries to home goods, Simplitude offers a wide variety of products that are vegan, zero-waste, and organic. Audrey and her co-founder, Christine Teixeira, are on a mission to provide more conscious buying choices for their customers. They promise that customers will be confident about what they buy by saving money and making the planet happy. Simplitude has a thorough retail process in which they handpick, test, and review all responsible Canadian products on their online market. The business also encourages the local economy by taking little profit from the products they sell. Instead, their revenue comes from a membership subscription service. Simplitude also prioritizes community impact. 1% of their revenue goes to non-profit organizations. For her entrepreneurship, Audrey Marguerite won the Entreprendre Ici Honorific Grant in 2021.
