Charmaine Crooks

Charmaine Crooks

Charmaine Crooks was the first female track athlete in Canadian history to compete at five Olympic Games. Today, she serves as the president of NGU Consultants, a global consultancy and management firm based in Vancouver. Crooks is a committed, entrepreneurial leader and team-player who consistently brings her A-game both on and off the track. After retiring from competition, Crooks proceeds to blaze trails as she lends her voice to causes such as gender equity in sport. Crooks is a Global Champion for Peace with Peace and Sport and the founding member of the IOC Ethics Commission and Right to Play International. In 2019, she was selected as one of the Women Executive Network’s Top 100 Women of Power.
