Chloé Dubois

Ocean Legacy helps organizations create pragmatic tools to stimulate the plastic circular economy and steward the natural environment to keep plastics out of the ocean. Co-founder and Executive Director, Chloé Dubois enjoys developing research programs which utilizes spatial mapping, education, clean-up expeditions, and plastic to fuel technologies in order to lead the world in their ZERO WASTE CLEANUP initiative. Her foundation searches for methods to combine sustainable technologies to give all plastic waste and debris economic value. Enabling communities with the skills to monetize ocean plastics creates new business opportunities while helping mitigate pollution reduction efforts. Dubois has also co-founded one of the first ocean plastic innovation and processing centers in North America which now has recycling infrastructure, depot centers across the province of B.C. and has diverted over 800,000lbs of plastic from landfills.
