Tero is an incredibly innovative company working in eco-responsibility. They manufacture small countertop appliances that transform food waste into fertilizer for outdoor plants, gardens, and lawns. Tero’s president and co-founder is Elizabeth Coulombe, who started working in the company in 2018. She is an MBA graduate from Université Laval, and her entrepreneurial accomplishments have been recognized by a number of high-profile accolades. In 2022, she won the Quebec Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Business Conscience Award, and she was featured on Forbes’s 30 Under 30 list in 2023. Her company has made tremendous impacts: the Tero device has been purchased by more than 8,500 people and saved more than 832,000 liters of waste from landfill sites.
