Emily Bland

Emily Bland is a recent university graduate from St. John’s and “SeedEO” of SucSeed, a social enterprise that fights food insecurity. Working with expert agriculturists and engineers, SucSeed developed a small-scale hydroponic system — a soilless, nutrient-filled plant incubator — to help struggling communities grow their own fresh produce for just 30 cents a day. Emily was also selected as the Reza Satchu Award winner for outstanding performance in the The Next 36 program and demonstrating potential to lead the country’s next generation of high-impact entrepreneurs.
