Fowzia Mahamed is the founder and CEO of EduCare. Prior to launching her business, she was a School Trustee with the Toronto District School Board overseeing 600 schools across Toronto. This invaluable support can then be accessed by those who need it the most, like students suffering from chronic health and mental health conditions. Fowzia is the recipient of the 2021 The DMZ Women of the Year Award for her inspirational work in Canada’s technology sector. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Special Education.
