Jen Dubois

Jennifer Dubois is the owner and founder of Miyosiwin Salon Spa in Regina. Miyosiwin is the Cree word for “beauty”, and reflects both Jennifer’s heritage and her business’s commitment to Indigenous cultural sensitivity and respect for all patrons. Jennifer is a professionally trained stylist and worked as a hairdresser before enrolling in business classes at the First Nations University of Canada. Many of her clients are Indigenous and seek Miyosiwin out because of her respect for the cultural sacredness of hair, including services that allow clients to take their cut hair home with them, filling an important gap in Regina’s personal care market.
