Jennifer Wabegijig is the owner and designer of Wild and Glorious, where she creates home and fashion products using naturally dyed cotton canvas and screen-printed designs. Jennifer is a graduate of the Fibre Arts program at Fleming College’s Haliburton School of the Arts in Haliburton, Ontario. After she graduated in 2016, she started designing bags and throw pillows for her first booth at her hometown pow wow, which eventually became her business. Jennifer is an Anishinaabekwe from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory on Manitoulin Island, Ontario. She draws her artistic inspiration from her culture’s respect for the environment. Her dyes are made from plants that grow naturally in the Georgian Bay region. In 2021, she represented Wild and Glorious as a semi-finalist in the Ontario Pow Wow Pitch.
