Kim was a recent graphic design graduate when she opened Whink, a boutique in St. John’s selling jewelry, accessories, homewares, and skincare products. She sells a mix of locally-made and internationally-sourced products. Her merchandising reflects her personal brand: pink, femininine, and beautiful. She expanded her business from her flagship brick-and-mortar store to an online e-commerce platform. Her interest in jewelry led her to open a second business, Sparkes Designs. Her jewelry designs feature raw, high quality Labradorite, a semi-precious stone first discovered in Labrador. Her designs can be purchased online and in local boutiques.
