Sage Lacerte

Sage Lacerte is an Indigenous entrepreneur and social activist from the Lake Babine Nation. She is the founder and CEO of the Sage Initiative, an organization that aims to empower Indigenous women to become impact investors. Sage has served as the National Youth Ambassador for the Moose Hide Campaign, a movement that works to end violence against women and children in Canada. With a degree in Gender Studies from the University of Victoria, Sage has a deep understanding of the issues that Indigenous communities face. The initiative aims to provide Indigenous women with the skills and pathways to make small to medium-sized impact investments with balanced social, environmental, and fiscal returns. By investing exclusively in Indigenous-owned social purpose businesses, the Sage Initiative aims to build wealth and prosperity for Indigenous women, their families, and their communities.
