Lilian Umurungi-Jung

Lilian Umurungi-Jung is the founder and owner of Mumgry, which provides plant-based, all-natural, and nutritious snack foods. Her product line up has a particular focus on three unique varieties of nut butters: smooth peanut butter, chocolate hazelnut butter, and a pistachio chocolate almond butter. The idea for Mumgry came about when Lilian was struggling to find healthy and tasty snacks during her pregnancy and postpartum period. The lack of nutritious snack options led Lilian to create her own, which eventually inspired her to start Mumgry. Lilian used her severance pay from her previous job to fund the business and make her dream a reality. Mumgry has been recognized as one of Complex CA’s Women-Owned Businesses You Need to Know and is featured on Beyoncé’s Black Parade Route catalogue.
