Louisa left her job as a recruiter for a large accounting firm in 2014 to open True Buch with her partner Conrad. Sustainability is important for Lisa, who initially started the business selling draught kombucha only to reduce waste. Demand for their product meant they started bottling their product, but have participated in carbon offsetting to compensate for the shift. The bottled product is sold in over 500 stores across Canada. Lisa and Conrad have since launched True Incubator, a non-profit business program that provides local entrepreneurs with the tools they need to scale their businesses.
