Parisa Agahi is the founder and CEO of Tression, a Toronto clothing brand that makes therapeutic compression pants. Tression’s products are designed for women who prioritize self-care and comfort. Parisa was inspired to start the company after watching her mother struggle with varicose veins on her legs, which impacted her confidence and fuelled her struggle to find comfortable compression stockings. Parisa started Tression when she was a student at McMaster University, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Discovery and a Master of Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization. In addition to her work at Tression, she works as a full-time data science researcher.
