Hannah Bernard and Samatha Ellis, founders of Roots & Ardor, met through a chance encounter at a charity event one day. The result of their serendipitous connection led to the creation of the unstoppable media company we know today. No more than five months after incorporating, the duo landed their major retainer client, Macdonald Realty. Since then, they’ve grown to be a heavy hitter in the competitive Vancouver PR industry – they now have some 25 clients on retainer. Along with running their busy digital marketing agency, the two are also podcast hosts, online course creators, and business mentors. Some of their pro bono clients have included BackPack Buddies, One Girl Can and Raw Beauty Talks.
