Sandi Morin

Sandi Morin is the Owner and Operator of Sandi’s Poutinerie in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. The restaurant which has been operating for around four years serves home cooked meals, and also offers gluten free options to its customers. During COVID-19, Sandi saw a demand in the community for items such as flour, yeast, rice and beans which were difficult to come by. In their closed dining room, Sandi stocked bulk products, grocery supplies, and meat she purchased from suppliers to sell to the local community. The need was strong, as people came from as far as Saskatoon and Lloydminster to purchase supplies. Sandi’s Poutinerie was able to continue serving home cooked meals, while simultaneously pivoting to address the needs of her community.
