Shelley Jarrett runs SMJ Magazine, a lifestyle and business publication for diverse entrepreneurs and other professionals. The magazine publishes stories from the fields of fashion and design, arts and entertainment, health and wellness, and faith and community. Shelley founded SMJ Magazine because she wanted to tell stories that resonate or teach their readers. As a racialized woman, her magazine’s aim is to give voices to people through a digital platform. In addition to SMJ Magazine, Shelley owns other businesses in the Greater Toronto Area, including Shelland House of Films and SJP Consulting. In 2022, she was an honouree of 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women.
