Tania Larsson

Tania Larsson is a jeweler in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. She runs her own company called Tania Larsson, where she makes and sells Gwich’in fine jewelry with her traditional skills and contemporary art education. She specializes in beadwork and she tans the moose and caribou hides used in her jewelry, skills that she learned from elders and close friends. Tania holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Tania Larsson’s jewelry has found great popularity. The business was a semi-finalist in the Territories Pow Wow Pitch in 2021, and one of Tania’s necklaces was worn by Billie Eilish in a photoshoot for Vogue in 2023.
