Some of Carly’s earliest memories of childhood were connected to family and food, so a culinary career seemed to be a natural choice. While apprenticing in fine dining restaurants, Carly developed an appreciation for the versatility of mustard in a variety of cusines. Carly saw a gap in the food market for local high quality mustards that people could use to elevate their home cooking with ease, and at the age of 22, she began selling out of her homemade products at locals farmers markers. Smak Dab now proudly produces award-winning flavours that supply over 75 retail locations in Manitoba, upwards of 50 in British Columbia, and numerous more across Canada.
