Cathy Munro

Cathy Munro is the owner of Bramble Hill Farm in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. Bramble Hill Farm runs a greenhouse operation that exclusively grows microgreens for wholesale. They market their products through their website, as well as local retailers in Nova Scotia. Cathy has a background in fisheries and biology. She turned to gardening during her first maternity leave, and she focused her farm’s attention on microgreens during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Cathy was recognized for her contributions to Nova Scotia’s agriculture industry by the Nova Scotia Minister’s Award of Excellence in Agriculture. 2023 marks Bramble Hill Farm’s fifth year of greenhouse operations.
