Hayley Wickenhouser

Hayley Wickenheiser is the founder of Wick Hockey, an international initiative to grow hockey at the grassroots level. She is also the founder of WickFest, an international female hockey festival. The first woman to play full-time professional hockey in a position other than goalie, Hayley Wickenheiser was a member of Canada women’s national ice hockey team for 23 years and holds the record, along with her teammates, for the most gold medals of any Canadian olympian. The festival includes tournament matches, workshops, clinics, and special events to promote women’s development in the sport of hockey.
