Amisha Moorjani

The Food Quotient is a takeout and delivery restaurant that makes vegan, plant-based, and halal food options in Brampton, Ontario. The restaurant is owned by Amisha Moorjani, who works as the President of The Food Quotient. Amisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition, as well as a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems Management. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs, having been informally trained by her father and grandfather from a young age. The Food Quotient combines Amisha’s expertise in food, nutrition, business, and entrepreneurship. Prior to starting her company, she worked in various roles across the Big Five Banks in Canada for 12 years. In 2022, she won the Brampton Board of Trade’s Business Award of the Year, Environmental Sustainability category.
